What we do

The Boardvengers were assembled in an effort to give gamers a well rounded view of different board games and the content surrounding them. It is difficult for any of us to be truly knowledgeable or unbiased so we hope that by assembling a group of board game enthusiasts from different backgrounds and ideals that we can provide the best view of what is exciting and noteworthy in the board gaming community.

Dave is an Architect and avid gamer offering custom 3D printed Board Game accessories and inserts on Etsy under the shop name “Game Foundry.” He has been an active member of the Southern California gaming scene for nearly a decade. He is on Instagram as @gamefoundry

McKay has been working as a professional in the Board Game Industry for 5 years. He has worked for Hasbro designing games for Lucas Films, Marvel, Netflix, Nickelodeon and more. He now owns his own Board Game Design studio called Backfire Game Studio. He is on Instagram as @theboardcritic

Shear Boardom

Roberto is a hair stylist and board game novice interviewing people in the board game world. His YouTube channel is Shear Boardom Table Talk and can be found on Instagram as @ShearBoardom. His super power is bringing people together to have real and engaging conversations.

Professor Meg

ProfessorMeg, also known as Meg Oak, is a tabletop gaming enthusiast who focuses on bringing colorful photos and costuming to her board game coverage from her New England home in Massachusetts. Some of her favorites are Gloomhaven, Arkham Horror, Dinosaur Island, Tidal Blades and many, many more!
